Grandeur goes green

Hyundai recently released details of its 2009 Grandeur large sedan range that includes the introduction of the 2.2 litre CRDi turbo Diesel engine which achieves 7.9 litres / 100 km fuel economy, as well as a range of additional enhancements and refinements.

The 2009 Grandeur offers luxury car comfort and performance combined with real world fuel economy delivered through the 3.8 litre V6 petrol and 2.2 CRDi turbo Diesel engines.

2009 Grandeur is available with either 3.8 litre V6 petrol or 2.2 CRDi turbo Diesel engines. Exterior enhancements include a new radiator grille, chrome inserts in the front and rear bumpers, indicators in the door mirrors and new style 17” alloy wheels.

Standard safety equipment includes ESP Stability Control incorporating Traction Control System, Anti-skid Brake System plus Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, active head restraints for driver and front passenger, child seat anchor points with ISO Fix points and 8 airbags including dual front airbags, dual side airbags and curtain airbags.

Other luxury features include power tilt and telescopic steering wheel, IMS (Integrated Memory System for power driver’s seat, steering wheel and outside mirrors), electro chromatic interior mirror, rain-sensing wipers, auto dusk-sensing headlights, powered folding outside mirrors with 3 mode auto-dipping in reverse.

2009 Grandeur offers a range of colours that are matched to either a new black or beige leather interior.

The 2009 Grandeur comes with Australia’s first 5 year warranty with unlimited kilometres, whilst introducing a comprehensive 12 months Hyundai Premium Roadside Assist program.

A range of Genuine Hyundai Accessories is available for customers to ensure their 2009 Grandeur is tailored to their needs. The range includes Front Park Assist Sensors, Cargo Liner and Roof Racks (2 bar set). All Genuine Hyundai Accessories are covered by Hyundai’s Australian first 5 year Accessory warranty with unlimited kilometres.

Recommended retail price for the Grandeur 3.8 V6 petrol 5 speed auto starts at $39,990.

    Finally, a car maker from this side of the world has released a diesel sedan well manufactured and appointed to the levels of high priced Europeans and with out the worry of falling apart after 3 years. Bring it on!
