How do I search for a job?
From your job seekers control panel you can select ‘Search for new jobs’ in the left navigation, or ‘Job search’ in the top navigation to advance to the job search engine. Here you can search by keyword, category, location and type.
Once you have a list of search results you can click on the job for more information, or on the company logo for more information about the company.
How do I add my resume into the database?
From the ‘My Profile’ section of the Job Seekers Control Panel you can select to upload your own resume (in pdf, doc, rtf or txt format) or you can use our online resume builder.
Do I have to use the online resume builder to set up my resume online?
No, you can upload your resume in pdf, doc, rtf or txt format and leave the resume builder fields blank if you like.
Once I’ve put my resume into the resume database, what will happen to it?
Once you have uploaded your resume into the Autopeople resume database, employers in the Autopeople network will be able to search for your resume, by keyword or category. We will also suggest your resume to employers when they post a job that matches your profile. So the more information you provide, the more likely that you’ll hear from a prospective employer soon!
How do I change my password?
In the ‘My Profile’ section of your Job Seekers Control Panel you can select ‘Change Password’ in the left navigation.

In the ‘My Profile’ section of your Job Seekers Control Panel you can change your password, your privacy settings, your uploaded resume and your online resume.
